What we do

Prison Garden

Here at Trellis, we believe in harnessing the power of gardening to enhance physical, emotional, and social well-being. Supporting over 500 groups across hospitals, care homes, schools, prisons, and community spaces, we foster green sanctuaries. These gardens aid  individuals in recovering from health challenges, overcoming adversity, and boosting skills and confidence. Collectively, each week, we positively impact over 12,000 lives through gardening.
We conduct training workshops, provide information services, and offer on-site assistance. Whether you seek advice or a visit, we are here for you. Additionally, we actively contribute to research and development in therapeutic gardening, ensuring our network's voice resonates with policymakers.
We bring people together. Come and join us, we're here to help you

Good Practice Sharing

Network events provide local opportunities for staff & volunteers from therapeutic gardening projects to share ideas and offer mutual support. They take place across Scotland - from Shetland to Dumfries - see our events (make a link) for details of networking events
